  1. My beer consumption is only one bottle a week on average. That is why I buy only the best beer available – my favorites come from Stone Brewing in San Diego. Also, that is why I want the best glass. The Bodum double wall glass fits that requirement. Fresh ale stays fresh and cool with the double wall construction. Ordinary glasses allow the heat of the hand to degrade the cool beer and hence the taste. My only question is how does Bodum manufacture this superb product and how do they keep the price so low?

  2. I love these glasses but wish they were larger. They go beautifully in the dishwasher with no problem. I’ve had them almost a year. My guests always comment when I tell them they’re glass.

  3. let’s be clear: these bodum glasses are things of beauty. but since since they’re also drinking glasses, they’re supposed to be practical. unfortunately, they are antyhing but. i stuck one under the thru-the-door ice dispenser of my fridge and the dropping cube cracked the glass. that just ain’t right. save your money until bodum tells their glassblowers to thicken the bottom of their glasses. until then, these glasses just, well, blow.

  4. I got 2 of these glasses in December and here it is only a few months later and just adding ice into the glass and it went right through the bottom – shattering the bottom! Had I thrown in from across the room or was playing super quarters :) , that would explain it, but merely dropping ice into the glass caused the break! Save your money – these are nice in concept, bad in construction! Bodum has been NO help too, they claim there are “no defects” in the construction!

  5. I’d give these 5 stars except they are easy to break. I knocked one over in the sink and it broke. However, if you treat them as quality glassware, as you would nice wine glasses, they will last forever. I regularly wash mine in the dishwasher without a problem.

They are sold as Cooler/Beer glasses, but I find I use them just as often for hot tea. They will keep beer cold and tea hot for an amazing amount of time. And cold beer won’t sweat all over a table which eliminates the need for coasters.
